happimummi, good luck to you and DD this Fri. I would be in exactly the same situation as you next year for my DD, if I didn't manage to catch my last chance to take the PV route. So I can understand how helpless you feel.

Great! Then welcome to the BCPS family! It's quite surprising that although this is a popular school in Bukit Panjang (balloting for < 1 km within 4 years!), not many people are using the 2B route in - this year just 7 seats were taken up in this phase!!patntee:

Maybe they didn’t manage to complete the hours. And many parents still want to go for BPPS as their first choice. Parents will be more cautious after this year where even PVs were balloted out at BPPS due to large intake from earlier phases and the large number of PVs too.

True, BPPS still is the most popular school here. Also BCPS is not tested yet. Once the first batch writes their PSLE and if they happen to do well, interest in the school will explode.

For a child born in 2007, registration for P1 will be in 2013 right? So you will need to complete your 40 hours between June 2012 and June 2013. Just call the school in early 2012 to reconfirm your interest. Although if you want, you can also volunteer now just to get a feel of the school so that if you feel your decision about BCPS is not right, you can always stop and instead volunteer elsewhere.

Can anyone comment on Zhenghua Primary? Wonder why the take up rate was relatively low during Phase 2C…Thanks in advance.

Bcoz most of them will choose BPPS, GRPS and BCPS as their 1st choice then WVPS and ZHPS will be their P2C Supp choice... :imcool:

Of the two I think ZHPS will get full faster as compared to WVPS which then goes to the foreigners!
