To be honest, I had a good feeling when I was at Marymount registering my dd. Can see her in that environment. So it's a with a bit of guilt that I am putting her on the wait list for transfer to ATS or KCPPS. I am in a way sacrificing her for my son's sake as I am painfully aware that birth rates spiked for 2007 and also that it is getting harder each yr to get a child into a good school.Fur-ma:
Hope to transfer to co-ed but in the meantime, have already applied for PV for 2013 registration. Yes my ds is 2007 Golden Pig boy. He is so skinny though that looks like like a skinny monkey than a pig

Furma, glad u found peace registering at Marymount. No need to stress again. u PV at KCPPS again? Never think of SHHK P2B for DS#2?
We will still be SHHK members come 2013 so we can play this \"game\" all over again by that time, i.e. apply for recommendation letter etc. Application for PV at KCPPS opens only next yr and Yes, I will apply there. Have applied for PV at ATS in case we want to forget about gg thru SHHK. Sian but what to do ..
I did the crime (by taking a gamble with AT at 2B and now got to do the time :spank:

All the best Fur-ma, can see that you are trying very hard and doing your very best for your children. Whichever school your children attend eventually, it is more important that they have a good mother in you and your guidence and love will see them through for a long time to come.......

Thanks but you see me up too much
I am a very \"no time\" mother so hope to put them in a school that can help them so that I don't have to

Fur-ma:
not so sure about that... What I heard is that good schools expect that parents are very much involve in the kids education at home.

KCCPS is tier 2 and MCS is tier 3 .. did i make the wrong choice? I have the chance to go to KCCPS at phase 2B but chosen to take my chance at Pei Chun. Knowing my odds are low at phase 2C for Pei Chun and KCCPS, i chosen MCS. KCCPS did not publish their results at website so hard to judge how their students perform in PSLE. Why is it better than MCS? :scratchhead:Fur-ma:
For kcpps there will be balloting for those betw 1 to 2km. Those outside 2km no chance
KCPPS appears to be a 2nd Tier school!

sorry to hear that. sometimes, it's the parents that are stressed, not the child who is oblivious to what is happening. You may like to try teck ghee, townsville or guang yang. these are the nearest available ones. It may be a blessing in disguise to attend a less competitive pri sch. -
Hi,
For your information, teck ghee also left with very few places, therefore, it would be advisable to think carefully. -

Hugs. So sorry to hear this. I know how you feel. You have a bit of time before 2C Supp starts. Go check out the schools in the area and see how they fit for your child. Maybe start with GY.
