Balloting failed:(:( Got 2 twins and 1 triple sibings and they successful got 7 places, felt it's unfair to single child.Sooo dispointed
I'm sorry to hear that, ruiruimum. Your odds of winning any of the 28 seats out of 84 applicants are just too daunting. It is not worth dwelling on it anymore. What is your plan now? -

Yes. It is better to focus on your next plan of action.ruiruimum:

Hi RuiRuiMum,
We were balloted out too
Disappointed too... Thought i am mentally prepared for the disappointment but i guess when it is really happens, it hit harder than you thought.
Now, have to think of back up plan but back up plan also need to ballot i think :(((
But we have at least tried and give it a go . i can only console myself that my son is not fated to be in the school.
We have to Jia You !! -

Thanks all !! I will now go for Qifa which is also within walking distance and actually nearer to my home - only 50metre away !! but Qifa will only have 14 places so will definately need to ballot again

-

Hi ruiruimum, i dun think it is right to say that it is unfair to single child. The twins and the triplets all shared the same ballot slips so everyone has an equal chance. Just my humble opinion. -
I know it is painful for parents who are now trying for Qifa, but please help me understand this.
1. Given the poor odds of getting into Nanhua, and the fact that we have highlighted in our balloting history of the poor odds of getting into Nanhua in Phase 2C, why did you not choose to go to Qifa in Phase 2C?
2. Would you have changed your mind about Nanhua if you KNEW that the total number of people going for NHPS was 84 for 28 places? If an extra day is given to you to reconsider your decision, would you have withdrawn your application to NHPS in Phase 2C, even when you know that other parents are also likely to do so, which will subsequently improve the odds for the remaining parents who insist on staying in the ballot? -

:goodpost: Because i had chosen Qifa to secure a place than balloting in Greenridge or Beacon...I know it is painful for parents who are now trying for Qifa, but please help me understand this.
