Yes, i've to agree on this as at 1625, there are two last minute registration causing those that are under 1km to need to ballot for places. In my opinion, first day should be for those under 1km to register and second day for those 1-2km and last day for those above 2km so that they can monitor the number of application and decide if they want to register and not get caught out last minute.

to create excitement for parents & headache for school. :roll:
think the number in ACS (s) are scary, hence thinking even if balloting in SJIJ, chances are higher. but really lor, because of all these parents who cannot decide cause those parents' stress! think SJIJ has to face this every year! -
Yup. 53 applicants fighting for 51 vacancies. I guess some are spill-over from parents wanting to register at ACSJ but thought it would stand a better chance balloting at SJIj than ASCJ.

Yes, the 2 parents pulled out from ACSJ to SJIJ during the last minutes because the odds is better at SJIJ. But there were also other parents which sticked to ACSJ even though they have better chance at SJIJ.

They are causing unnecessary stress to all at sjij! Really upset with the last min 2!!! Seriously they should be penalized cos their hearts are for acsj but they cannot face the risk...at the expense of those who genuinely wanted to apply at sjij....:(

It was so stressful for parents registration their boys at SJI that need balloting at the last minute. 51 to 53 vacancy.
Lucky managed to get balloted today. Sigh of relieved.
