Champion, you are such a kind, considerate person!
we love you ! -

roughly understand... good... good
i roughly understand what u mean
hmmm.... sch ggg has only 1 balloting history for P2C supp in yr 2008..
2010 - 52% APP
2009 - 45% APP
2008 - 118% APP
2007 - 27% APP
2006 - 28% APP
i'm defintely staying within 1km from this sch premise...
i'm js basing on the number of vacancies still available for P2C supp to gauge... :xedfingers:
the other option is sch FFF....also within 1km.. with 63 vacancies still available after P2C.
this sch has no balloting history for the past 5 years... all falling within the range of 67 - 83% APP
okay, i went to fish out all your aaa to ggg already.
The numbers in your area are very close to last year (pg 22 -23 of that thread
). No big increase in #s and no upsetting trends. So I think your options are highly risk free! :celebrate:

@eileen11002: brace yourself for the next phase. Have fall back plans...
I am so emotionally tired throughout this journey...didn't sleep well and till this afternoon I am still feeling lousy...the image of the balloting scene keeps flashing back...can't even take an afternoon nap to calm myself  -
yap_susan:
I am also unsuccessful. Hope no need to go through balloting in phase 2c sup. Regretted going for balloting. Emotional roller coaster!
Sorry to hear you bad news yap_susan. :snuggles:
Plan well to try to avoid another roller coaster ride. Hope your area is relatively low risk.
Good Luck! :xedfingers: -

For all parents who has just been thru P2C ballot and has to go thru P2C Supp soon,
I'm sorry to hear of your disappointment and having to go thru the balloting process. As I said in my earlier post, every ballot will have happy and sad outcome. Fate plays a part. You have done your best and choose the best option for your kid at that point in time. It's time you move on and decide on your next best choice in P2C Supp.
For P2C supp, it is best that you look thru the MOE website to get a list of schools with available vacancies for this phase NOW! Note down the available vacancies. Then check the following:
1. Past ballot history for P2C Supp for the school (you can see from this link http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/content/singapore-primary-1-registration-school-balloting-history)
2. Make a gauge of \"unsuccessful #s from nearby school\" which will likely to apply for this school
3. Check up your chance based on your distance from the school
4. Look up the school website to know more about their programme, achievements, CCAs, etc.
5. Talk to neighbours with kids in that school, or visit the school (even if you cannot enter school compound, you can observe the school kids' behaviour just after dismissal time or around the compound) to have a feel of the school
If you do not want to go thru the balloting process again, it is best to choose schools with no past ballot history for P2C Supp, and within 1km to increase your chance. You should have at hand a 1st choice, a 2nd choice, and maybe even a 3rd choice if your area is having overwhelming unsuccessful #s from popular schools nearby.
Monitor the numbers of applicants for P2C Supp registration, and if needed, you may have to withdraw and apply to next choice, etc.
Hope this helps and Good Luck to all in P2C Supp!!! -
Me too, failed in 2C balloting⦠headache.
