The general consensus is that BTPS has low in-take during earlier Phases primarily because of people who stay around the area is confident that they can get into BTPS in Phase 2CS, so they don't mind trying their luck for one of the more \"elite\" schools like NYPS and RGPS in Phase 2C.
Most parents who get into BTPS are happy with their school, even though it may be their 2nd choice. In fact, a number of kids in BTPS \"migrate\" to the elite GEP schools in the neighbourhood schools at Pri 4, only because BTPS does not run the GEP programme. -
if one fine day suddenly BTPS run the GEP programme, then it'll no longer be the Phase 2C supp school anymore, but join the 'elite' category, become a highly much sought after school.

More than 10 yrs ago it was a more popular than now, my nephews & nieces used to go to e school & it was under Mr Raja. I see that Mr Raja stepped down in Y2006 & the vice principal of HPPS took over. And seems then popularity went down. Saw from the balloting history data, BPPS was in "green" in P2CSupp - balloting for more than 2 km in y2006. Subsequently the years after that were cleared of balloting.

BTPS is now under a different P. Her name is here:-
http://app.sis.moe.gov.sg/schinfo/SIS_SearchDtls.asp?strCode=1247 -
amongst Bukit Timah schools, if compare:-
- Henry Park
- Pei Hwa
- Nanyang
- RGPS
- MGS
- BTPS
at end of P3 going to P4, which are the school(s) that produce the greatest number of their own in-house GEP students from P1-P3, without having to import outsiders from external outside schools ?
do we have such data ?
