More than 10 yrs ago it was a more popular than now, my nephews & nieces used to go to e school & it was under Mr Raja. I see that Mr Raja stepped down in Y2006 & the vice principal of HPPS took over. And seems then popularity went down. Saw from the balloting history data, BPPS was in "green" in P2CSupp - balloting for more than 2 km in y2006. Subsequently the years after that were cleared of balloting.

amongst Bukit Timah schools, if compare:-

          - Henry Park
          - Pei Hwa
          - Nanyang

          - RGPS
          - MGS
          - BTPS

at end of P3 going to P4, which are the school(s) that produce the greatest number of their own in-house GEP students from P1-P3, without having to import outsiders from external outside schools ?

do we have such data ?

No official data on this. If you're interested you can check with all the different schools and report back here. šŸ˜‚

may i know any Bukit Timah school allow students wear black shoes to school, instead of just confine to wearing white canvas shoes only ?

this way, no need to wash shoes every week.

Don't remember seeing any students wearing black shoes around here. Every Sat night, I wash 2 pairs of shoes and coat the canvas part after that.

My girl is very picky about her school school and would only wear "feminine style" shoes. Like those mary janes style. Hard to find and those are pvc coated and can easily wipe down with a wet cloth.

I bought those PVC coated for my gal too, but not mary jane style. From Bata...easy to wash too.

I wouldn't bother much about GEP cos I know my DS is not top 1%. My concern is PSLE. Pei Hwa is one of the very few top non-GEP schools. If one look at the top schools by academic excellence, most of them are the GEP schools and to me, of course they should be top cos they have the top 1% cohort. Not easy for PH to be one of them. And yes, most of the time, the top PSLE student in Singapore is from the gifted stream. I will be happy if MOE can publish the top non-GEP student.
