That's because it also includes the numbeR of those more than 1km.pandiraj:
As Sji Junior vacancy is 51 and 53 applied under 1 km, will there be any balloting or will the school absorb the 2 additional students
Why is MOE website showing ACSJ 79Apps and SJIJ 80 Apps?
Thought they have called up those >1KM to pull out their app. Did anyone get the chance to verify the actual APP with the schools? -
SadMum:
The schools have total say of their waiting list, and they choose who they want to accept. How does the waiting list work? Is it prioritised according to phases/distance too? (e.g PV parents within 1km is higher on the waiting list than a Phase 2C parent within 1km)
Or is it first-come-first-served?
Or at the discretion of the school?
It is common belief that the schools will give priority to PVs who had failed to get a place in phase 2B, as a way to show appreciation for what they had done. -

Yes, absolute discretion of the school.

I think this is the first time SJIJ has had to ballot for phase 2C (under 1 km) in like .... forever! :scared:pandiraj:

Exactly 43 applications <1km for the 43 vacancies.
On the 2nd day, there were only slightly more than 30 applicants where 2 applicants are 1-2 km and 1 applicant > 2km.
Thanks to ST who provided free ad for SCGS and in the end ... anyone > 1km has no chance at all. -
Thanks Anxious. I think your data is P2C. I am interested on P2B data, understand there is no balloting in P2B but curious how many to stay between 1km & more than 1km

Think this is the most relevant infodaphnehsieh:
39 within 1km and 3 for more than 1.anxious:
Anyone knows the closing for scgs?
Just called SCGS, 2C has 42 spaces[39+3]. Which means 2B were all in! Congrats! I'm waiting for Phase 2C next week!!
SCGS quite selective in PV? Are you gunning for it? -
37 is taken in P2b for 40 available seats. How many within 1km & over within P2B?
Lexy:
39 within 1km and 3 for more than 1.
