Yes. From the same DD who mentioned

        the \"happy marriage\" thingy...
Guess that shows how often both of us
are on KSP when the kiddies are still awake.

She also asked why we didn't use our real names
and pictures. So to me at least, it was a fantastic
time to explain to her the anonymity part on
        cyberspace networking (etc) which she
        absorbed with much wide-eyed interest.

She now knows how to ask to see/read certain
threads on KSP when i'm on... She also asks me
whether the mummies i've helped advise on the
subjects of reading, or math and stuff have managed
to get them done successfully or whether their kiddies
can now read or count effectively or not in result of those
        sharing sessions of mine...

She's too young to sign up for KSP membership lah. šŸ˜›

I was probably 4 yo when this happened. My father once asked me if I was born in the year of the pig, and I said yes. After that, he asked me if I was a ēŒŖå…«ęˆ’. I wondered for a while as I had no idea what or who was that. Eventually I said yes. :faint: :faint:

P/S: I was far from being fat, more like a skinny monkey actually šŸ˜›

As compared to us, our kids these days are smarter, but sometimes to the embarrassment of the parents.

DD was 4 yo when I would at times get quite frustrated for failing to get her to do certain things, like playing the violin, doing her maths worksheets from shichida, etc. When I was at my wits' end to motivate her (basically she is a very care-free girl and totally non-kiasu), I tried to tell her that she has to study so that she would have a good job in future and make enough money to buy the things that she wants; that Mummy and daddy would not be able to keep buying things for her. Once, DH decided to take that further. He said to her that if she doesn't study, she could clear rubbish and become like the cleaner lady who sweeps/mops the floor at our place and have no money. When he said that, I raised my eyebrow and thought that was too much.

Then one morning, as DH and DD went into the lift, they met the cleaner lady who was mopping floor in the lift at that time. DD looked at DH, smiled knowingly and whispered rather loudly \"no money!\".

DH was so embarrassed and tried to make up some other context that would seem to explain why DD said \"no money!\" šŸ˜“

When he told me the incident, I could only say to him, \"Serve you right!\". :rotflmao:

This one from my P1 gal. She brought back her class assignment last night for parent's signature. There were some marks indicated on the front page for each section but no total marks and she was telling me she got full marks because the teacher mentioned what's the full marks for each section. While going through her work, I saw she made a mistake in one of the questions which the teacher never spotted and still mark her as correct.

                      Our conversation -
Me: See you so careless, copy from the question also can leave out one word, so how can be full marks
DD: Where, but my teacher mark all correct what (never bothered to look up as she's busy drawing her teachers' day cards)
Me: (showed her the question) There you are, see....
DD: Aiyo why my teacher so careless, never see properly, so how can you always scold me careless???!!
                      Me: :whut: :stupid:

This was a couple of years ago when my son kept asking about the sun and moon.

DS: Mommy, where's the sun? Why the sun go down and the moon's turn to come up?

Mom: Hmm, cos the sun worked for the whole day, now have to go home and rest. Now the moon's turn to work lor.

DS: Oh.. ok... Mommy, what's our house number ?

Mom: It's #07-77 dear. (Happy that he finally change subject)

DS: Ok... oh... Mommy, what's the SUN's house number ?

                        Mom: :whut: :faint:
