Hi, just curious. If now still didn’t receive the notice, does it mean that there is no chance for the next round?

        Hi poovbear,

Actually not sure. The website says all shortlisted candidates will be informed by 4 Aug. But so far no one has mentioned being shortlisted for next Sat. Makes me wonder if only those who are shortlisted for this Sat camp have been notified. I do remember them saying there will be 2 camps.

I wonder whether anyone else has any clarifications.

            Hi,

just confirmed with sst staff that only those that are participating in this week camp had been informed. Only half of the selected was informed. So there will be another selection camp next saturday and they will send out the notification at the later date probably early next week. Those not selected or on waiting list will only be informed end of the month. So perhaps is good news for all who are hanging their neck long for the reply.

How did the camp go? What did they "test" for during the camp?

                Hi Poovbear,

Any notification received for the 2nd camp?

                Cheers

I am sorry to hear that. Actually this whole process is so heart wrenching even waiting for the shortlist - I dare not think of waiting for the CO stage. I can empathise with your feelings. I hope your son takes this well.

My thoughts seem to be that if he did well enough in the HAST to be called for the NUSH camp - he stands a very good chance of being called for the SST camp. Keep your spirits up.

                    Cheers

Thanks a lot. It is just that he was born with some flaws in his character (think probably a little bit of asperger). So I think nus might be good for him. I also hoped that he will take it well as still hasn’t informed him. Let’s just try our best and accept the outcome.

                      Best regds!

                        Hi Poovbear,

Just pm-ed you. Also children seem to be more resilient than adults. After hearing from you that no SST call - I am extending my hope a little more till Wed. Otherwise I was ready to give up.

                        Cheers
