For successful applicants in Phase 2C to SCGS, should we be expecting some form of confirmation from the school? Like a call or letter?
Thanks. -
Hi, the last I read on MOE website for SCGS was 51 applicants going for 43 vacancies.
Does anyone have the breakdown statistics for P2C balloting according to distance? Thanks!
slimbh, your daughter got into SCGS? -

Hi Sakurachan,
43 are within 1km and all in. No balloting. -
Thanks Orange Girl! Oh so do you mean the other 8 come from outside 1km? Thanks!

Yes.. the no of applicants within 1 km is exactly 43.
The rest has to be outside 1km -
Jav:
This year 2B no. has increased quite alot compared to last yr where there are only 29.37 is taken in P2b for 40 available seats. How many within 1km & over within P2B?
I predict that going forward.. 2B will probably involved balloting, even within 1km, especially with so many new condos on the way. Also 1-2 enbloc coming up.
gd luck to all -
Thanks Anxious!!

I asked the school when I was there for 2C registration. The admin staff told me quite a number of 2B applicants stay within 1km although she didn't say the exact no. If history is a good gauge, there tend to be about 50+ to 60 applicants staying within 1km (I think there is an error in 2010 data, all 66 applicants should be within 1km).

So I presume quite a number staying within 1km must have applied under 2B this year given the relatively low application of 43 under 2C. -

Yes, I do think that there are alot of applicants are within 1km. Well, check the no. of new condos that are opp. the school :scared: -
