          KCQ,

With your impressive record, I am sure you will make it to a very good school, be it via DSA or PSLE results! Sometimes, we do not exactly know what the DSA schools are looking for (I've seen students with more impressive results not getting offers, whilst others have gotten. It's hard to predict!). What is impt for you now is to concentrate on your PSLE and achieve good results to get into your dream school. Keep up the fighting spirit - the PSLE marathon is not over yet!!!
:thankyou: πŸ™‚ Thank you all of you for your immense support!:D Yes, we should keep up the fighting spirit! Thanks once again!;P :rahrah:

Hi all, I'm new to this forum. Does anyone know how big is the WL at NUSH? Some parents have shared that kids on the NUSH wait list are given a CO eventually. Any parent with experience in last year's DSA can share?

            DD is on NUSH waitlist.

            thanks-in-advance πŸ˜„

              Hi tiggermum,

According to admission briefing last year, chances of wailist successful applicants is 100%. there are always students with multiple offers and prefer the tried and tested O/A level route so they reject NUSH CO. So if you want to put it as first choice, by all means go ahead!

BTW :congrats: on your daughter's WL. its no easy feat.

I was at the NYGH tea session last Friday as well. What surprised me a little was why are there so many RGPS girls -- I estimate about 40+ (2 sheets of paper on the attendance list) but only say 20-30 NYPS. I remembered at the GE Fiesta which was held back in May, I noticed a large crowd of NYPS but only a handful of RGPS.

Anyone has any 'theory' about this ?

the opposite grass is 'green er'... πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

Alamak :scared: We didn't apply to RGS as we thought the super competitiveness from all the RGPS girls is really not a 'good' environment for the growing up years. Now, if all the RGPS girls all go to NYGH, will they turn the NYGH into the same environment ? :scratchhead:
No offence to those with DDs from RGPS -- it is just my perception. Super competitiveness is not necessary bad but just not suited to my DD's character .....[/quote]hmm...in the past, data fr nyps shown that quite a number of nyps girls
had chosen rgs as their 1 st choice.....
but in recent yrs, situation somewhat has changed,
heard and seen quite a number of nyps girls would like to go to nygh, instead.
