      Ddlouis:
      Hi Chief,

My child failed in balloting for P2C n the school says we can put on wait list. Can I have 2 or more choices of schools for waitlist or jus 1 at a time ?

      Thanks
Wait lists are fully administered by the schools themselves. You can put yourself on as many schools' wait lists as you wish. Just don't tell the school you are on another school's wait list, because it could be construed as being insincere.

what do you mean by balloting number?

each balloting slip contain an applicant's name not some numbers.

Yes when u register they will issue a number tag which they said will also be ur balloting number. So during ballot the number will be thrown in to pick.

Numbers are different when balloting at NCPS P2C.
Not sure about the other schools.

No, it is by 2016. http://www.moe.gov.sg/initiatives/single-session/

And why would they have more vacancies for P1?

If a school goes from double session to single session, its limited number of classrooms will now have to accommodate P1 - P6, instead of just P1/P2 in the afternoon, and P3 - P6 in the morning. So they have to reduce intake rather than increase.
