ChiefKiasu, be glad your wife does not master the use of the TV remote. I made the fatal mistake of making sure mine knows how to use it. At first the TV remote and then the DVD, the amplifier and soon...the starhub digital cable set. You could say the master was eventually vanguished by the apprentice. All the controls are now in my wife's hand. I am now relegated to just handling the remote control of the least important of all the sets at our home - the karaoke set (face it, who does karaoke now a days). 😢

Is it normal for wives to not know how to use the remote controls? Then, I must be rare breed lor. 😉 DD also knows how to, way better than her grandparents (excluding my dad who loves to play with his \"home theatre system\").

I am one of those wives who do not know how to use the remote controls. Imagine 4 to 5 remote controls around for one TV. Do not know which to press and how to switch from this to that. haha why make life so complicated.

hahaha apple79, me  this is a conspiracy.....something to do with our prehistoric ancestor where the male weld a club inside the cave....but now instead of a club, they weld a remote....so now, when the female needs to watch their fav channels, they might hv to prepare some goodies to the male

Cannot! If we make more goodies for them, they will then plonk themselves down in front of the TV and monopolise the remote.

No lah... the ladies don't need to waste time trying to learn mundane and manual remote controls when they can simply use their voice activated controls to change channels. What channel you want to watch har? Right away, Ma'am!

there are quite a number there from hdb to private areas. checkout the babybonus website(https://www.babybonus.gov.sg/bbss/jsp/inst/InstInternetMaint.jsp) and enter the street name around sembawang area. hope that helps.

Hi, I am in Sembawang too, my daughter was born in 2006, she is in The Little Skool House at Sembawang Place which is by the Sembawang road, she is happy with the school and teachers.
There are also a lot other chilcare centres too. One MMI at BLK310, one Cambridge at the Admiralty club, and NTUC at BLK33?(forgot the exact number), one at Julutong CC....
                        Hope this helps.
