here is the trick for hotel : if your hotel is confirmed booking, check in as late as possible, chances are you get an upgrade

I am not sure about a upgrade. Actually read from those \"ghost stories\" in U mag that they checked in late and were given \"reserved\" rooms that were not clean....

      fainted..

as a standard practice in hotel management (which is always not published, never admitted, never denied), all room inventory are allocated out based on least desireable room first, and the most desireable room last, so that the best is kept for the last and hopefully, fetch the best price, for any walk in

of course if you have membership of hotel chain frequent stayer card, it helps too

For the wax museum, i went there 4yrs ago.. i think its at The Peak there.. after travelling up by the tram. The entry tix can get together with the tram tix.

I am still deciding want to go the peak anot as there is a very steep slope up to the tram. I will be bringing 2 kids along and i can foresee we are going to carry them up. It will be super tiring lor.. I read there is a bus to go up to the tram station.. need to know where to take the bus... haha..

We took the bus up from somewhere near the hong kong island ferry terminal but it was a long journey and rather crowded. Think it took us an hour to reach the peak.

Reach the peak or the tram station and take the tram up to the peak?

I'm also thinking maybe skip the peak and go and take the ferry boat right in the night to view the night scenary.. http://www.starferry.com.hk
