Thank you brudder. If you need ice box or trolley, I can deliver it to your doorstep since I'm not 100% confirm can make it. But I'll try my best to be present.

You're the 2nd PH parent I know who's going for Busy Bee. DS is attending Berries. May I know what's the diff between BB & Berries? Another thing I'm curious about, why 2 days at BB?

Judging from the amt of tuition your ds has, the L-F club is defintely not for you, keke.

But that's ok, L-F club is also not for me too. I belong to O-P club - Obsessive Parenting club, which is not necessarily a good thing by itself.

L-F being the exact opposite of O-P.

          Hi drickymummy,

Why don't you check out Newton Apple ? My friend whose son is classmate with mine sends her son there every Fri...her son enjoys the hands-on and the class a lot.

Yes, Jurong East central...my son used to attend Newton Apple for Maths but pulled him out as I realized he needs 1-to-1 attention. Other than Science Buddies, I can't think of any other centre near PH.

Honestly, I don’t think it’s possible for any parent to be in L-F club. However, O-P (obsessive parent) is a little extreme in my opinion…how about C-P which stands for Consistent Parent ??

My son was selected to represent his class for CL story-telling last year...but there was no time to prepare for it as there was lots of homework in P4...myself and hubby had to help him with non-core subjects and younger sister also helped him with simple art work.
He was too happy to drop HCL at the end of the year...fortunately he did as P5 Chinese (normal) is not easy either.

It's a good exposure to be able to represent class/school in story-telling competition. However, I do agree with you that it's very time consuming. I used to help a friend in preparing her daughter for Teachers' Day speech. Seriously no joke. Spent a lot of time and the poor kid had to sleep late to memorise her speech.

But I must say, it is generally quite a happy thing for kids to take school bus, coz they can talk .. hahaha...

My DD will raise both hands & absolutely agree to that! She came home one day happily telling us that she has a friend who talks to her all the way on the sch bus, from home to the kindy & on the way back home, as previously she used to be the lonely one who was 1st to board & last to alight. I've not heard of another kid who enjoys the sch bus journey as much!
