Hi Jworld, how long tuina per session?
Jworld:
So far we visit twice. First visit included a tuina and medication. cost $38. Second visit was only tuina, cost $28.sheryl:
How much do you pay for the Tuina at Havelock? Is there long Q?
not really long queue cuz all go by appointment. I usually go much earlier so that in case the sessions before my appt end earlier, the doc can see my daughter earlier than the appt time. But can see that all the appts are back-to-back. We have patients stepping out when we arrived and while we were leaving, there were also other patients coming in. -
Usually about 10 - 15 mins. The first tuina was very brief. As it goes, the physician increases the duration gradually. After the tuina, my DD will go thru the nebulizer cuz of her nasal allergy condition. This part takes longer than the tuina itself.

Does anyone know of someone in the yishun/ sembwang area?

Actually I find that EYS's herbs is better, not becos they buy better quality, but bcos they store their 'medication' properly. When i see TCM doc, he also say that the EYS meds are more effective. Have taken meds from normal medicine halls and EYS, for my family, I find it true. Cost more, but proper handling, rental and labour are costs too.
EYS herbs are bought from local wholesaler just like any chinese medical halls in Singapore. So the quality is just the same like any other chinese medical halls. The extra that pp are paying is the Name - Eu Yang San only.
Their medications are also manufactured by local or other oversea manufacturer, which these manufacturers also do made other medications and sell in chinese medical halls. I know from one of my supplier that sell plaster for pain. The same plaster that I sell in my shop costs double if you buy from EYS, just because, they use EYS box.
It is just that most people who rather buy 'branded' then normal shop.
For other stuff like plasters etc.. I don't buy fr EYS... those can get from anywhere else lah. -

Hi,
I am a mother of 3 kids and i have been bringing them to Herbal Basic TCM at Havelock road for almost a year. One thing i would like to clarify, the duration of their xiao er tuina is not 10 - 15 mins. My experience with them on xiao er tuina is it has always last for more than 20 mins per session. Also their nose treatment is not using nebulizer (which is only use by western doctor), but a warm-heat steam vaporizer device together with some kind of herbal solution, which they call it \"Nose Spa\".
As far as I know, they are quite specialized in treating nose problems, and they have different formula of herbal solutions for different nose conditions like blocked nose, nose allergy, cold & flu, nose & throat infections, etc.
My 3 kids was quite prone to \"cold & flu\" due to nose allergy, and after receiving xiao er tuina + nose spa therapy for few months, their conditions have very much improved and fall sick less often now. -
I am a first time and also a SAHM mummy. I also brought my 5 mths old girl to herbal basic at havelock for bb massage. She is underweight and refuse to drink milk and don’t sleep much and don’t poo daily too! Am very worried and so my girlfriend who also their regular customer recommend them to me. After one week plus of massage and the nose spa everyday! My girl drink more n sleep better now and gain 300grams in a week and before she is like only gain 100grams for past three weeks. Now that she improved I can reduce the visits from daily to alternate day. Chinese bb massage really helps alot…

Although I didn’t really time the duration of the massage n nose spa but I noted I always stayed there for almost 45mins to an hour for both session…

Oh the nose spa is very effective. Myself and my 3 kids also under this treatment. So far we seldom have flu or cold. I strongly recommend this nose spa.
