i totally agree but u will be surprised how worked up drivers here can get over a lot.

perhaps if we adopt the Thais way of parkg, we might see more smiles instead. gee, i really miss those days where i get to test my strength to push different size of vehicles.

the car coming out was blocked by the front half of my car, but before I could reverse, the car behind move up right behind the rear of my car preventing me from reversing. I have no choice but move forward, and the car behind took the lot.

usually when i see a car already waiting there i won’t wait at the same row… i will go to another row just to prevent arguement later on… and is not worth to spoil my day just bcos of a parking lot…

it happened to my dh.
we were waiting for a lot for more than 30min at suntec.
then this fellow came and drove into the lot while the car drove out.
my dh blasted the horn at him until he drove out (abt 5sec only la...i think).

At least he drove out. My experience has been with people who don't care. Especially angmos who think they own the road they drive on.

It happened to me once when I as at Queenstown Ikea. I was waiting for a car to go out and another guy just came and slot in. I was with my mum but I just honk at the guy until he went out. Don't he think he can jump queue and bully a female driver :heresmyfish: Well good that he got out.


My girlfriend told me of a case she witnessed at car park opposite Iluma. Due to such parking issues, a lady driver was verbally abused by another driver. Both were eyeing at their lot.

This reminds me of an incident when our car was stationary and a car came so close and scratch the side. He didn't stop and drove off! I gave chase, high beamed him and honked at him for the next 1km and he finally came to a stop. He thought he could get away with it. I think I was 4 months pregnant then and all alone. I was :mad: At least have the basic courtesy to admit your mistake.

We came across one that was really bad. It was along ECP and we wanted to filter towards Vivo area. There was ample space but the angmoh driver was so upset. He honked at us,etc.... and when we turn towards vivo, he purposefully honk and drove his car so close infront of us, trying to make us hit his car. That was really distasteful. You won't die giving way to a car infront of you.

This also reminds me of ungracious drivers who purposely speed up when they see that you are trying to filter in. Pervert right.... What is that few seconds or 1 min to your entire journey???? Look at the big picture folks.
