      P3 have matter?! :faint:
i thought only cycles, magnets, diversity, materials and/or systems....:faint:
      Jedamum,
Matter comes under the main topic \"Cycles\" which includes:-
      1) Life Cycles of Animals
      2) Life Cycles of Plants
      3) The three states of Matter

My DD1 has the 1st 2 covered for this term and to be tested in the CA2 next week 😓 ...The last one will be at Term 4.

          yup closed by stopper.

then you are right, the mass remains the same but the volume will decrease.
The answer in the book could be wrong

                Hi All!

I have a qn from Conquer Sci assessment book Exercise65 Q2.

A syringe has 10ml air at first. After pushed the plunger in,the picture shows less than 10 ml.(picture showed in the book, before and after)
What is the true reading of the volume of air in the syringe after the plunger was pushed in?
Answer provided as 10 ml.Is that answer is correct? If yes why?

If we pushed in should be less than 10 ml as air can be compressed.
                Hi

It’ll be interesting to know the meaning of “true reading of the volume of air”. Why does the question setter use the term “true reading” instead of new reading of the volume of air or plainly the reading of the volume of air in the syringe after the plunger was pushed in.

I guess the best way to check is to seek clarification from the publisher of the book.

                Best wishes

I didn’t expect that tricky qn coming for p3?

                    Is this the teachers@work book?
DD used more of the P5/P6 than P3/4 ones
I remember this book having some different questions and liked that.
But some answers/explanations were incorrect , (from the P5/6 book, I think). So do look out.
