I can't seem to see any TV watching session in most of the timetables?

Do they still have time for TV at all?
Hi are you referring to TV time at home? Oh yes, my girl watches TV ard 9pm-9.30pm, Discovery Channel, which is her favourites. Some nights she wil read before sleep or watch her kids channels. She loves Mr Maker.

Btw, she also likes to watch the 7pm channel 8 Taiwan serial!!

My daughter told me her classmates watch that Taiwanese drama ‘love’ !!!

No way will I agree to it. She does watch The Noose on tue since it’s just 1/2 hour. Oh yes, geronimo Stilton cartoon. So when she watches, my older one follows suit…unwind a little.

I think it is all about discipline. Just do not know how to control them from watching too much TV and balance the school work at the same time.

              Hi Parents,

My daughter is taught creative writing using 3 pictures…she has problems linking up the pictures. Her teacher told me she will be starting on 4 pictures as well as Show & Tell.

NO  P1.[/quote]wow..kids are so stressed now a days.

But my daughter is in P1 (west grove) and so far she just got 1 picture and few helping words to write compo.

I wonder if the standard of teaching creative writing and compo is same in all schools.

I need another help from KSP parents in the forum. Actually I am Indian and my daughter has taken Mandarin as her mother tongue in school.

she is doing ok. But sometimes, she brings back school homework and gets confused about what to do :scratchhead: ? I feel totally helpless in that case 🤷

Is there any parent nearby Jurong west st 64 whose kid is P1 or P2? I just thinking of asking for help once a while if my kid had any doubts. :?:

Pls help and advise. Thanks a million in advance.

                      mother777,

is your kid with any chinese enrichment? if so, can always bring the homework to the centre to seek additional help in explaining. 🙂

I've discussed with hubby regarding daughter's lack of creative writing skills...will sign her up for class starting next term. Since her school is starting on 4 pictures, I don't think it's advisable to wait any longer :nailbite:
