my mil ordered thumbs up junior to help DS & DD to read & learn more... and also write more...
she made them copy short paragraphs...
and then they are suppose to re tell the story back to my mil, using their own words... -

You're lucky! :rahrah:for chinese... think my mil can help.... but hypy...nt sure if she also expert...
she always correct my DS & DD on the strokes - which stroke shd come first etc...
and teach them hw to read, tell them stories to help them understand more on the word itself...
explain to them why its better to write this way or why its better to use this word...

Better build up the language when they are young! :lol: -
let me reveal her secret... my mil is a CL teacher back in those years... :evil:
so even if i use the wrong word... she will correct me also... or :spank: me for using the wrong vocab... -
ya… so i really rely on her alot… cos the kids spent most of their time at the shop… so ah ma can guide them anyway…

You are very lucky as I heard some children are in waiting list at some of the CL Enrichment center!

chinese nt on my list to send the kids to enrichment centres at the moment…
currently only English phonics for DS… will send DD to phonics next yr…
as for maths… will monitor his results first when he comes to P1… cos for K2, his teacher did mention he learns very fast… -
