[Tampines] Primary Schools

yap_susan:

I was the last one to register. Happy to know that there are still five more vacancies left. Thank God everything is over. My ds is still bugging me about gs. Wonder should I put him in Gongshang waiting list.

Maybe I should bring him to Yumin outside compounds to take a look to get him to like the school.
His best friend got into ST Hilda's, I told him to work hard and get in by Gep!

:congrats:

No harm putting his name in Gongshang. Follow up with the principal of Gonshang if you still want him to go to the school, but meanwhile, let him enjoy himself in Yumin.

We have many members here who didn't manage to get their kids into the school of their choice, but their kids are enjoying themselves in the so-called backup schools now.

Yes, will call up tomorrow to put his name. My ds is still unwilling to give up.

Happy to know your son got in Yumin. Let your son enjoy there, maybe once he make frens, i think he will finally begin to like that school.

ya, he is upset abt not getting into GS is bcos he has not seen the good of YM. i am sure he will be alright after he makes new frds over there.

my DS is also like that, i ask him if he wants to change to a new school nearer to us, he refused too

May I know when will we receivethe letter of confirmation from registered school? Need the confirmation then can put in another school’s waiting list.

Hi GS Parents,

I’m very keen on becoming a parent volunteer at Gongshang Primary. My daughter was born in June 2008.

Do you know when will the school usually start PV recruitment? How stringent is the PV selection process?

Thanks.

How to interpret the award? I saw some schools score two white star (or blank star) or red start together with white star (level one and leve two award) and is it more red star is better more blank star? If one red star, is it better than two blank star?

is it hard to get into gongshang primary???

Hi, may I ask how if my parents stay within 1km of the school of choice, can I apply for my child to register for P1 using my parents status as her guardian? What is the criteria? Tks.
