I remember that too. The second day's Chinese was more difficult than the first day's.jtoh:
btw, juz for sharing....
as for my gal 's yr (2009),
the 1 st day oral pic and Q, regardless of EL or CL was much easier than the second day's one......
as feedback fr the pupils when they discussed abt it....
that's right.......and she kena the second day 's CL....
i remembered that it was a \"huan song hui\" (farewell party) whereby most pupils were talking abt teacher's day celebration.
so P6 pupils .....please see carefully what is/are written on the pic paper.
Yes, those few words really confused a lot of kids. -
Augmum:
that's a good translation, funx3 (at least to me)........
I personally think the correct term should be 学生园地. DS directly translate it to 学生角落 tooFunx3:
\"students' corner\" - is it 学生角落 ? There's students' corner in primary schools these days ? I have not seen any in ds's schools.
Just for the Fun of it, Brain storm with My Gal and ask her what would be the Best Translation ....
here's what she say - 学生休闲角落 ....
By the Way, her CL Oral is Tomorow ....

学生角落
学生休闲角落
学生园地
Personally, I don’t think "Students’ corner" is common in primary schools. Any primary school with such a clearly labelled corner ? Secondary schools and JC,maybe yes but not so in primary schools.
Since SEAB picked school scene, they should focus on something more relevant to our local primary schools.
Nevertheless, all the best for 2nd day oral tomorrow. -

The setting only show a \"Student corner\" signage with another \"No eating/drinking\" signage, bookshelves, 1 computer, carpet floor where students sit, and table and chair. Hard to say if it is in classroom or library (some say classroom, some say library......).

Ya my ds conversation is on small group activity but he said the male teacher was a bit mumbling so he heard it as cleaning activity ... But second thought cleaning work can be a small group activity yah ...
Vlim-the child can ask the examiner to repeat their question if he/she didn't catch or hear the question. :scratchhead: -
Pen88n:
Think they may accept a few set of answer so long as don't say the place is at fast food outlet etc
