Hi puff, r u gg to try for a son? Ppls hv been passing this kind of remark whenever I told them I hv 2 dds. Especially my MIL, wanted a grandson. She will say tat since I am SAHMnow, got time to try for no. 3 - a son. I will always :siam: whenever she brought this up...

Me not going to try anymore... Factory close shop liao. My mil didn't say anything abt grandson bcoz she know I will tell her single income family cannot afford 3 kids haha.

Agreed. But I think maybe boys r more active in nature than girls.

Although my MIL will say tat nobody will take care of us when we r old due to sonless n we will be lonesome especially during reunion dinner but still no regret to hv only dds.

However I believe not all sons are inattentive to those nitty-gritty stuffs. I hv one gf who son already in his teen. He will arrange birthday surprise n he even go on "date" with my gf during valentine day. He bought her a rose too. Sounded sweet, right?

          Janet,

You must be right about girls. My SIL (DH's sister) know what birthday present to buy for her mum, where to bring her mum for dinner, what size shoe she wears and knows how to cook for her mum to show concern. DH and his brother everything also dunno. He remarked that next time I can forget about receiving nice gifts from my three sons!

Yup.. always feel that dds are better.
Most of my friends have one ds and one dd = good in chinese. Wonder why am I the odd one out with 2 ds. 😞

          Awww...don't feel that way! :hugs:
DDs may be more attentive to the little things like that, but I'm sure whether they are sons or daughters, our children will love us the same!

DH may not be as attentive to his mum like his sister is, but he loves his mum a lot and tries his best to do right by her. His gifts to his mum may not be suitable..., but he will always think very hard about what to get...

hi mummies, you all very blessed, have more than one kid! DD recently asked me for a mei mei. I told her to pray to the β€˜big man’ up there (God), and she really cupped her hands together, looked up to the sky and prayed!

Thanks! But will let nature take its course. Otherwise, the higher the hope is, the more disappointed may get...
