Hi everyone....here's the CL oral 2day:


1. Reading....abt children's day
2. Pic....a scene where the teacher brought the students to the beach to pick up litter
3. What gd deed hv u done. Elaborate.

Finally, PSLE oral is ovr. Can take a short brk b4 cheonging for the PSLE.

Hi My DS also mentioned the same thing. He said it's quite easy.
Finally oral is over.
I've ask him to check up NJC website for info to prepare for the interview tomorrow.
Somehow feel need a CO to feel safe.
Anyway we like NJC and feel that the environment is probably less stressful for DS.

Ngbrdad, just to share what I heard from a pupil's mum who received WL for RI in 2009. That boy had CO from nush n HCI, but WL from RI. Even tho he's not in RI now (prefers nush), his mother said most WLs were given CO upon psle results for those who indicate RI as their first choice. This is becos from the places allotted for sec 1 posting, they will pull out some n give to those in WL first.

Heard Yesturday chinese topic about small group activity.... Many students cannot answer without further prompting .... If I were the kid I might not know how to answer also ...

Don't worry lah, it's over.
Anyway RI not emphasizing that much on Chinese.
The most vivid impression my DS had with RI was when he was waiting to sit for his GAT, this entire class of JC students were celebrating and screaming at the top of their voice that their Chinese lesson was canceled.
Since then he keeps saying that's his type of school..

must bring you down to earth a little...those Sec one boys are doing '3 kingdom' under HCL now ...... that is how chinese they could be

:thankyou: RI is the preferred school for DW (She was from RJC). DS is open to suggestions.
For me sometimes I worry whether the environment at RI will be too tough for him or not.

Heard from DD that there was a food pyramid poster on the wall of the clinic so maybe the \"What's your favourite food\" question was a tie-in with that theme.

I remembered having to go shopping for 三国演义 simpler story book, DVD (赤壁) and computer game with fren for her DS at Sec 2, as the kid was simply not interested in Chinese literature!

Pinky88, next week is Prelims for DS. No break!!!

I know a lot of schs hv such schedule which I prefer...clear the PSLE oral first then concentrate on prelims. My DD' sch is the reverse, she juz finished her last prelim paper the day b4 the PSLE oral...n nw hv to prepare for NJC interview 2moro...juz told her to treat it like another oral exam...hee
