Ok, perhaps tonight I'll ask my son whose pictures he would like to see hung in his school wall.
I did.. ..and mine asked if he can mix & match.. .. :faint: -

No..no...I noticed it from the news on TV not newspapers. His wife will smile and nod approvingly (& adoringly) with her huge eyes! Usually your eyes will appear 'smaller' behind the glasses & lenses, but not for her case.....> very spirited & earnest indeed!concern2:
Really? I only looked at the front page - inside got more?
Ok, I get the picture..

hmm... if it is not within his power, even if he lobbies, why should the ruling party listen to him, even if he is EP?
I guess there's a difference between trying to \"push\" for something and going to \"do\" something..limlim:
The things that TSY says he wants to push as a EP is not within the current power of an EP.
BTW, how is he going to push for his economic policy as a EP? Can someone enlighten me?
\"Push\" can mean lobbying it or selling it to the ruling party.. Surely that is within the powers of the EP? If it is within the power of the EP, it would not be \"pushing\" it but \"Doing\" it already.. isn't it..
Anyone can lobby, and an EP can lobby. But if it is not in the constitution in the current situation, what makes him any different from another common person?
So to me, he has chosen the wrong forum to pursue serving his public interest.
And what is the point of pushing if it aint going to yield any result? Just for limelight?
No one says that the ruling party will listen to him, if it even matters.
But there is nothing wrong in sharing his vision and desire with the public.
We do not know if is going to yield any results..
But it is better then someone who says yes to everything or just keep quiet bcoz \"everything\" is not within his power.. when he is holding the highest office in the land.. -
TJS can promise anything, including taking only $500,000 annual pay as president and donating the rest, just to win votes. But not everyone buys it. Have spoken to a couple of friends and they both felt that TJS has his own personal agenda and is not the right person as president.

So the rest no own personal agenda? How to know? -
Am I the only one to notice it but in quite a number of pictures in the papers and on TV, TTโs wife is always shown beside him and smiling nicely? What tremendous support and quite a powerful campaign couple. I guess Mrs TT would help to pull in a lot of votes too!
Today I asked my mother who she is going to vote for. She said should be TT because he is the only one she can recognise. Also he is a familiar face for so many years already. The rest she dunno who and that is what most of the neighbourhood aunties told her too! She further said Mr & Mrs TT are the only couple with the "Fu Xiang", one look and you can tell they are Big Shot! The others cannot lah!
So how? Thatโs why in the very beginning I say if based on Beauty Contest standard I know who to choose lor! But talking about family support, I like the look of TJSโs whole family (his wife and kids) going with him on-stage. Looks like a lovely family!
For me, TCB also got the look. -

Yeah, TKL's wife is the \"hiau\" kind. Her face looks \"botoxed\".concern2:
Is there anyone who's trying to make a choice by looking at his wife?
I thought TKL's wife a bit too... er... glam for my liking...
kinda gives the impression of Imelda Marcos... :siam:
