TJS can promise anything, including taking only $500,000 annual pay as president and donating the rest, just to win votes. But not everyone buys it. Have spoken to a couple of friends and they both felt that TJS has his own personal agenda and is not the right person as president.

So the rest no own personal agenda? How to know?

Am I the only one to notice it but in quite a number of pictures in the papers and on TV, TT’s wife is always shown beside him and smiling nicely? What tremendous support and quite a powerful campaign couple. I guess Mrs TT would help to pull in a lot of votes too!


Today I asked my mother who she is going to vote for. She said should be TT because he is the only one she can recognise. Also he is a familiar face for so many years already. The rest she dunno who and that is what most of the neighbourhood aunties told her too! She further said Mr & Mrs TT are the only couple with the "Fu Xiang", one look and you can tell they are Big Shot! The others cannot lah!

So how? That’s why in the very beginning I say if based on Beauty Contest standard I know who to choose lor! But talking about family support, I like the look of TJS’s whole family (his wife and kids) going with him on-stage. Looks like a lovely family!

For me, TCB also got the look.

TJS's wife did fine with her cheong sum length on nomin day but I really wonder who dressed the family? I was surprised how ill fitting TJS's shirt was to start off...
Anyway, not like I am expecting 'Obama' family or branded stuff but I thought at least should be proper and appropriate..

I mourned for the loss of the strong Chinese roots that we once had due to the whatever of the many true blue Chinese educated people...

I feel for all them too, some of whom seemingly were at their prime of their lives, and everything taken away. Most of them were professionals - lawyers, doctors, surgeon, etc - just that they share different political ideas, and some simply want to speak out for the citizens' rights.
