Given the current sexual climate, i think its more safe to send girls to girls’ school.

My ideal way is mixed for Primary and girls school for Secondary. However, my dream did not come true for secondary. 😢

daisyt, i have the same thought too.

Good for the children to be in a mixed pr school and then proceed to a same-gender sec school.

I notice that girls who are from a girls’ pr school tend to show more ‘interest’ in boys when they enter sec 1 - which is a distraction to their studies.

I am hoping my girl will end up in a girl’s sec school but the choices seem limited unlike for boys’ school - She has to hit 263 and above to qualify for the 2 top girls’ school with IP program. Otherwise, she will have to settle with a mixed IP school if she scores between 254-260.

Of course she will have more choices if she is going into the express program - but we are hoping for her to skip the stressful ‘0’ level exams…

I think for Primary School, convenient is the key concern as long as the school is ok and accessible, it is sufficient for me.

I do not want my gal to spend too much time on the road everyday.

When she goes to Sec Sch, I hope she can go to GAL sch!!!

Just like her mommy who has her best school life in CEDAR GIRLS' SEC!!!

                😉

And apart from IP, most express girls schools are Catholic or Christian schools. Wish your girl all the best and hope your dream can come true :celebrate:

I am definitely putting my dd in a girls’ secondary school. My mind was made up long ago when an ex-teacher told me that she will never put her own daughter in a co-ed school. She witnessed too much distraction/emotions/despair about BGR thingi !

I always think that its the boys that are more distracted in sec schools compared to girls!
