-
carrotree,
I m new here, but i have been following this thread on and off. I heard that St Anthony don't take PV , u can call to confirm , and RC need to be 1yr - 2yr ahead. My boy register for pri 1 this yr (just over). I registered him from SA (hubby's sch) -> DeLa (for ballot in 2C, but did not get in)-> Kranji (final).
Really a tiring route  based on this yr, SA under 2C : 80plus places , 130plus register !! ... hope all these help -
We went thru the balloting @St Anthony and was lucky to get in

Hi west,
curious, since SA is your hubby's school, you should be able to get in right?
I'm also in a dilemna, feel stuck in a sense, because if the school dont' accept volunteers, they should just me over the phone right? i've called so many times and all they tell me is that volunteers have not been called up yet...
PrincessR, congratulations! :celebrate:
feel tired already, ha ha, and my registration is only next year.. *hai* -
Thks Carrotree!
Sharing the same feeling as U last year :?:
Set your target and pray hard
Hope u can get in for next yr enrolm ... Good Luck to U :celebrate: -
Hi Carrotree,
Ya hubby is former student , I did enrol my son in phrase 2A2 , then I decided to drop out to register him at De La Salle in Phrase 2C , but did not get in. If getting in to "good" school is impt to u , then my advise is don’t try luck , opt for 2nd choice if SA is hot next year. As u will get very very lost and disappointed if you did manage to seurce a place of your prefer school.
my suggestion is to see whether keming (seems popular OR yr 2nd choice) whether they accept PV , and go for it NOW

miss out a word :
As u will get very very lost and disappointed if you did NOT manage to seurce a place of your prefer school. -
Hi West,
Would love Keming also, but it’s troublesome to travel to that school, it seems near but you need to go by 2 buses. St Anthony’s is within working distance, hence my choice. Lian hua would have to be my second choice as it is accessible by a few bus stops…
sweat the stress i have to undergo next year. Nobody else can advice if SA accepts PVs? -
Harlow..

Confirmed that SA don't accept PVs ler..
But not sure for next year lah.. next year then you try again then.. -
Hi, we’re lucky enough that my youngest daughter has been accepted in SAPS for P1 in 2010. Is there any other "angmohs" or Eurasian kids in the primary school? I do not want her to feel alienated or feeling different among the SAPS schoolers next year. She has been going to international school for the last three years. We think it’s time for her to expose more in the Singaporeans community.
Your feed back would be appreciated to ease my "worries". -
kiasuconform Parent?! :!: :faint: Looks like we are going to need a certification board to verify if parents are kiasu enough to join KiasuParents.com
