Double congratulations on getting a CO from his dream school. :rahrah: :rahrah:

I wouldn't dare say its his dream school. It's the most realistic one lah. ALtho' must say it's rare that they even give DSA COs to their own affiliated school boys, so it's nice to feel wanted. I wonder what will be the outcome of the other school he applied to. Don't know have any chance or not. I think in all likelihood, he will go to CHS anyway.

So long as it's a school your son is happy to go to. Which is the other school he applied to? NJC to join his ge-ge?[/quote]No lah - that would be a poor match. haha. Also applied to DHS, but his grades are not so great, so maybe won't get afterall. Which is fine - DHS is so far. He also applied just to see if he can get in, and to give himself a choice.

when i heard that GEP programme teach subjects like up to lower Sec 1 level, i wasn’t surprised. To me, GEP programme is something like a modified accelerated lower Secondary programme cramped into primary school 3 yrs programme from P4-P6, with lots of projects assignments thrown into the GEP programme.

but if RI tests a P6 child with Science tests equivalent to Sec 3/4 standard, i think it’s too much. gosh! Sec 3 /4 the gap is too far away for a P6 child. Test Sec 1 level is still ok, because the gap is much smaller.

                        hi Ms tay,

is it they cramp all the P6 kids in the school like that, or cramp only a handful of students including your son ?
