On d 1987 Marxist conspiracy, he spoke based on d info given to him.
This affair was politically very sensitive, on a need-to-know basis, n only very few individuals hv d full picture.
Fr what he is saying now, u can deduce dat he didn’t hv all d info.
Ditto with TJS who was PPS to GCT at dat time.
The person who possibly knows more than TCB is TT, but he is hiding behind d veil of OSA.

On Jurong hospital renaming, he resigned when he didn’t agree with d rationale.
That shows his conviction. Was the timing material?
Any time would hv been before d PE announcement.
On both counts, I don’t agree with blogger’s final assessment that TCB is flippant.

you would like this speech by Mrs Ivy Singh-Lim at TKL rally last night. Nothing much on endorsement on the candidate, but she is speaking as a FULL-BLOODED SINGAPOREAN, a common people kind of feeling.

haven't read the link. but I did mused for sometime about the quitting of JGH. I am assuming that board members are paid.

So if he feels that naming the hospital for someone whose family contributed 10% of the total cost is not correct, and has strongly argued against it and still they never back off, is it alright for him to stay on the board and seemingly acquiese to this? Is it right to continue taking the money from a place he dun believe is doing the right thing?

that's my own thinking only lah, no inside news.
