MMM:

But this will put pressure on the media to cover it. But it's good that we are all not left in the dark unlike previously. The younger generation voters are huge fan of social media and they are the next batch of voters.

      Yes MMM,

foe example, we also did not know our reserves ( taxpayer's 'country money' ) had been dipped into 27 times during Nathan's tenure. This is very shocking.

      paiseh, a bit :offtopic:

:yikes: I didn't know about this either.
The People's Action Party's grassroots advisers to Hougang and Aljunied GRC are standing by their accounts of difficulties their grassroots activists have faced when dealing with the town councils run by the Workers' Party (WP).

Mr Desmond Choo, the adviser to Hougang, and Mrs Lim Hwee Hua, one of five advisers to Aljunied, made the declaration last night after WP chief Low Thia Khiang rebutted the accounts as 'untrue accusations' in a five-page statement.

In their accounts a day earlier, the grassroots organisations in the two constituencies run by the WP pointed to how the WP-run town councils engaged in 'subtle sabotages' and other shenanigans to thwart some of their activities.

One of these was a martial arts event at a basketball court in Hougang in 2001, which was supposed to end at 10pm but ended prematurely when the lights were suddenly switched off.
so much of talking and where is the proof??

:yikes: shocking indeed! I bet many still don't know.

Yes, I just heard it from a speaker at TKL's rally. I actually missed this whole episode of revelation. Did SRN really revealed that recently?

Geez. Look who is crying foul now.

d opposition hv been denied access to public spaces to host activities in PAP run wards for so long , now they say this is unfair practice?
“Don’t do unto others what u don’t want others to do unto u”.
Is dis tit-for-tat good at all for community bonding and unity?

The real issue is PA should be non-partisan n
public funds should not be used to support PAP political outreach programmes.
Respect d elected MP as d voters’ choice in their appointed wards.
Do these three things n many of d silly wrangling will cease.

To bring it back to topic… what I’m trying to say is this…

When WP do or say something, they always back it with facts, reports, newspaper clips etc… not just "say say".

But when MIW do or say something… a lot of times they have nothing to back them up…

Like the penny case… says it’s to capture the moment but no pictures to show…

And, for the "allegations" against "steal your Eggs", pple up up newspapers cuttings, official reports etc… to support their point. Except some issues like the deferment case which is difficult for any one to find "reports".

However, for this case, the someone just say "it is false" allegations without any supporting facts/documents. When he can do is to put out details on what is the vocation, nature of duty etc… and let pple judge for themselves whether the allegations hold ground or not (Like the way WP put up the few pages long article). But did he?.. or just say say only…

What I feel about WP is this… they really show the meaning of

                        真金不怕红炉火

They refute any allegations with facts and reports…

Not like someone just complaining about personal attacks but nothing refute the allegations…

Who is honorable and who is not, the public can judge for themselves.
