Teacher's Day gifts

actually, we should ask… any teachers here. what is the best gift (ok, being realistic, besides ur student’s result) that u’ve ever received or wish to have ?

it juz reminded me of one happening which occured some yrs ago......
my fren's daughter was with one of the elite primary school ( shall leave the name out)
one of the T's day, she made a card for her FT.
she happily walkd up to her FT and gave it to her.
there were other pupils surrounding the FT with their presents.......
when her FT saw that it was a card, she said in a loud voice,\"already said that dun give me any cards\"......
she simply threw the card to the dustin next to her. ...... :shock: :sad:
can't believe there is such a teacher, right ?? -

in my school, me and a few students got together this year and we will be performing Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars next Thursday! So nervous... hope my teachers will like it

In my dd’s primary school, they were told specifically no presents on teacher’s day. Just cards, if you really want to show your appreciation.

as in my gal's former primary school, there was once her principal announced during assembly .....
not to give gift vouchers to teachers on teacher's day
as one of the teachers had received a $50 taka voucher..... :roll:
she encouraged them to show appreciation by giving cards or self-made handicraft items.....
