Any idea why no CA2? I thought during the parents briefing session, the school mentioned about no CA1 (presumably to give the children more time to get used to P1) but will have SA1, CA2 & SA2?

My p2 girl has no CA2 last year and this year. My p5 girl finished CA2 last week. There is no CA2 in p1 &p2 but there are other "alternative assessments" eg performance tasks

My DD in P5, and was shocked with her recent CA2 Chinese result. Her Chinese MT (60%) and HMT (35%-failed ). While her Chinese is her weaker subject, it was never this bad. DD also mentioned that teacher say a lot of student fail the subject.

Want to verify with parents in this forum. Need to check is it my DD issue or the standard of the paper is tougher.

Hello, next Saturday is the orientation again. Remember to bring $$ for uniforms, textbooks and other stuff. Any idea how many sets of clothes can we buy?

                      Hi

Anyone receive letter from the school regarding this sat’s orientation for P1? I notice on the front label of the envelope they put my DD’s name and the word "Innovative". Does it mean that my girl is going to this class next year?? Any idea?

Yes, that is a class name. Likely that is your girl's class. 🙂
