For Lower Primary, if you want to start off for picture composition, there is this book that I just came across in the Learners Publishing webpage. They have sample pages for viewing perhaps you like to check it out

My daughter is at present using Casco book: Chinese model compositions P1. it contains some sample compositions and also excercises for her to try out.

One of my friend also recommended me to buy Victoria publications book: Chinese essay writing guidebook (elementary level).

I need at least 3 CL assessment books...1 for 'SA1' while another is for SA2. Then there is 1 for normal/weekly usage. -

I saw this book at popular yesterday and was very much tempted to buy
but i hesitated coz i felt that most of the exercises are just copying the words all over again.. Do you find it useful so far?

For CL assessment books, I am careful to get those which are not too difficult but yet not too easyβ¦defeats the purpose if child is discouraged by the difficulty level, yet becomes over-confident if too easily done. -
