Not sure what type of classes you are looking. My kids are with their language courses. Kids enjoy the classes and I love their teachers. Their materials are produced in house and incorporate Chinese idioms, feel level of difficulty is there. seen improvement in ds2 recently in his reading.

Hi Councillor,
Thanks for sharing. I am asking about the K2 chinese class. Are the teachers local and what is the class size? -
Hi anastasia,
The K2 prep class I think has a max of 16 kids (not too sure, but def more than 10). There’s only Ms Hung - she’s a local, and very experienced teacher.
Previously when DS1 was with her, she played some games in the class. Dunno why but DS1 became very scared (too thrilling?) and I spoke with her. She was kind enough to accept my comments and I gather she modified the games a bit so he’s not so scared afterall.
What I’m trying to say is that she’s receptive to feedback, and generally a nice person. -
Hi Councillor,
Thanks so much for the info. -

Hi mummies,
Is this discussion the same as this school at http://www.shhkact.com.sg?
Just chanced about this place along Toa Payoh Lor 2 and realised they offer chinese enrichment classes for primary & secondary students.
Would like to get some views on their chinese enrichment classes for P1, as compared to schools like Berries (which my dd is attending at the moment) or Tien Hsia? They also offer a show & tell class for P1. Any one has kids attending it?
Many thanks!! -
Hi,
I am wondering should I continue in their P1 class? Is it better then Tien Hsia or not? Hope anyone here can give some feedbacks. Thanks -
Hi there,
Need some advice here… is it advisable for children in K1 attending the lessons at Huay kuan or berries ? Berries would be a better choice ? -
I would like to enquire on their speech and drama class. My gal is learning chinese in childcare and next year when she is in pri 1, she is not taking chinese as her second language. I do not want her to lose touch.
Do you think it would be a good environment for her to join her. I want her to learn the language in a fun way and no stress for her.
Any recommendation please.
Anybody know about next year class schedule.
Thank you.
