Teacher's Day gifts
-
my son will visit his primary school FT this coming Teacher’s Day with some of his ex-classmates. They meet once a year at their primary school to say hi and chat with their teacher.
They have been doing so since sec 1. I think it’s a nice gesture and I am sure the teacher will be very happy. -
Not sure if this has been mentioned.
Your child (or even yourself) can dedicate a message to the teachers at this site: http://www.teachersday.sg/ -
Sounds familiar, my kid’s friend gave his teacher a card with a rose he made himself and the teacher said thanks but she would not know what to do with so many cards and roses, she preferred more practical gifts like pens. And the way she said it was very sarcastic and my friend’s kid actually cried because he was only in P2. Anyway I told my kids, just give red pens but for the card must write properly, dont just say happy teachers day must show some heart. But if teacher don’t appreciate, nvm, bring the card back and daddy will put it on fridge.

This is my son’s last yr in CC, (next yr P1 liao)…so i wan him to give his teachers something special.
I ask him to plant sunflowers for his teachers (we started 2 weeks ago)…it allows me to "kill two birds with one stone"…
I teach him how to plant seeds, water them everyday, watch them everyday and report to me how much they have grown…
Hope the teachers would like it… -
