All About Kids' Eye-sight

Help, my kids' eyesight is worsening! Now DS1's degree is 300 plus, last year was 200. I make him watch tv from quite a distance. Look out at the green but nothing seems to help. Is it anything to do with the food he eats?
It is usual for kids' degree to go up very fast, because they're all growing fast. If you read through the previous posts, you can have some idea what parents are doing to help their kids.
Food does not affect the rate of myopia progression. -
Can I just check where can I get this atropine treatment for my girl? She is 8 this year and has 400 each eye. Would it be useful for her? Where can I seek consultation? Any recomm?

Only eye doctors (opthalmologist) can prescribe atropine treatment. You might wish to discuss with your DD’s opthalmologist the next time you bring her for review.

Atropine only controls the progession of myopia. The degree may go down a little. -

am considering eye exercises program to help my child’s worsening myopia problem. Do they help at all? some people say their child’s degree dropped from 400+ to 200+ and if you’re at the 200+ level, you will not have wear glasses after the exercises. It has to be done every hour though and strengthen the eye muscles.

Are you referring to eye massage or a kind of machine that the child looks into for 5 min for each eye?
I have tried eye massage and also bought this machine. Both didn't work at all. -

no, I'm referring to eye exercises where you look far, then look near, then focus on specific portions of a chart that they give you. These exercises are meant to strengthen the eye muscles. By getting the eyes to focus near and far, they stretch the eye muscles.cimman:
