Eh, dating? I think my 2 ds better date after NS the best. Don’t have to suffer the can’t-meet-gf-and-then-get-dumped aftereffect!

16-18 years old. I don't want my children to miss out on puppy love. I feel that at an older age, relationships are not as innocent. I would like them to experience a simpler love. They can also learn from the relationships to better understand what they want in a partner. 😄

Just introduce to your kids an idol and they will be too busy chasing after the idol to get into a relationship. LOL~ They will think that the guys or girls in singapore isn’t good enough and by the time they grow up like uni or after uni, they will realise how stupid idol chasing is and start seriously thinking about dating people. (Korean idols are quite adept in accomplishing this job.)

And that is how you get them to skip the teenage dating phase. And less trouble for you. Hahaha.

Beware though, some might not grow out of the idol chasing phase.

I personally think the later the better, but then its up to the kids, we don’t know what they do once they leave the house, all we can do is educate them and hope for the best

puppy love  . i dont want my kids to miss that too, it is afterall part of growing up. i can still remember fondly the secret love i had for my primary school friend and the silly things we did to get each other attention................... but alas, we were too young to start anything so it was strictly silly puppy love.

all these memories would probably flash past me when i am dying, i guess.

Totally agree. I started dating in JC1. The boy was a straight As student and he was such a good tutor. I owe it to him that I got into uni, seriously. Plus all those sweet memories ^_^

I’m 13(just asking), there is a guy who liked me in P4 and tried all sorts of ways to get my attention until i was officially with him. It was a miracle that the secret stayed among my friends and an occasional teacher here and there.Should thus be called puppy love or something?

Yes would think it's puppy love 😉
I will not comment too much if it's right or wrong.
Don't know about other KSPs but from me, juz a simple advice: since you have decided to be 'officially with him', as a young girl, you tend to lose more so do set boundaries and not get carried away till something negative happens. Observe if he can exercise self restrain, don't get carried away. Always be prepared that this puppy love will not last.
Sorry to pour cold water but since your parents do not know and you share with us your little secret, I will treat you like a friend with above advice. If you were my daughter, hmmm.... 😓 :nailbite: :faint:
