Imagine I have to fight for kitchen space with a person that cooks only for herself to eat while I cook for 6! Unbelievable, yah? Nobody wants to eat her food.

Lucky for you. Used to be that way for us. Until FIL got sick and it was just ridiculous that DH had to drive up north to visit them every weekend. So got them to stay with us in s'pore, so she's been here ever since. ;(

Pls always remember, She is your DH’s mother and your DH is her DS, just like your mum is your dear mother and you are you mum’s dear DD.

She is as precious to your DH, just like your mum to you. Manage it just like office conflict, if you don’t like, just ignore and pretend to be deaf and blind, always remember, 1 hand cannot clap, it takes 2 to clap.

Old people just wanna exert their authority, when they find that you are just "dump" (act dump), they will give up disturbing you.
