      SAHM_TAN:
:offtopic: that's why Popular has so many branches. I wonder is it listed?

I will have to enter to decide which I want to buy but the lack of 20% will help me from buying anything. πŸ˜‰
I believe Popular is listed...it's gone into property too.
The lack of 20% prevents me from buying books too...esp those which are not urgent. So I go to Popular close to the time 20% is offered...and snap up what I want. But I have to do 'homework' at home first to shortlist what I want...don't want to end up with backache.

        Hi Janet! :hi5:

I was like wanting to :siam: e assessment books section whenever I am in Popular Bookstore πŸ˜‰

But now another \"good\" excuse coming up but \"come with a price\"!

Dd1 din score well for her CA2 - she told me, \"Mummy, teacher said must do more assessment books in order to improve!\" 🀷 :skeptical:

I really :stupid: for hearing such comments from the T
        Hi Champion,

For this CA2, the child's science teacher said that getting more than 80 marks is considered good effort.

After the English paper disappointment, my child surprised himself by exceeding his own expectations for his science paper (his weakest subject in CA1 and SA1). This round, we used Learning Science and SAP Process skills for preparation.

            Hi SAHM_TAN,
For SA1, that teacher had expected 90 marks to be good effort.
It is good that the teacher had adjusted her expectations according to class performance/difficult of paper.

              Hi SAHM,

For Language, above 80 marks are consider good as this inclusive of oral, compo, listening and written.

As such, for Maths and Science the teacher expectation will be higher.

                Hi Champion,

Not too worry as Science is something new to the P3 students. :hugs:

I check the record and noticed DD scored low band 2 in P3 but she has gradually improved to Band 1 in P4 and P5 once she get familiar with the subject.

                So Jia You!!! :rahrah:

                  Hi Brenda,
Thanks for the encouragement! :snuggles: :hugs:

DD1 was like,\" :scratchhead: Mummy, I think I might have made careless mistakes in the MCQ; I got full mark in Section B OE!\" She has a low band 2 and almost nearing to band 3 so was

She shared that she is weak in the topic \"Materials\" so told her to re-work on those assessment books with this topic...Mummy will help to print out past year papers and pick out those related questions for her πŸ˜„
