Haha. For us, we have the piano and 5 violins, all of different sizes...
3 belong my hb who used to learn (really vintage cos >15-20 years old) and the other 2 belong to my no 2 and 3 who are learning violin now....

LOL - if you count all the sizes, ah??? Then we have 5 violins (1 mine, 1 ds1's, 3 ds3's), 3 erhus, 1 jinghu, 1 viola, 1 dizi, 1 piano. Currently, the 2 violins, 1 erhu, 1 jinghu, and 1 viola are already competing for space in the living room corner!

        Dear phankao, constancet,

DS1 learning piano, DD1 learning piano and violin and DS2 learning violin now.

Nope, it's the ENERGY, plus Patience, plus need to *psyche* kids - all add to too much STRESS, so best to keep it sane!

Normally I will make my kids very tired by :

                Swimming
                Running
                Playing
                Writing

They will tell me they’re tired and want to sleep. I don’t need to pat them or even say bedtime stories to them.

How come it does not work for me. I bring them to swim, study, play games. At 10 p.m., they still demand bed-time stories, which is always too short. I have to tell till 12 midnight, get angry and demand, make hot milo, before it happens.

Wow, seems like a lot of your kids are into music. I asked mine if they are keen and they said no. No point forcing them as I do not have space at home to accomodate the instruments. I am not into music too so dun think I can coach them.

Must make them exercise. The food they eat also very important..
