        Breadandmuffins:
Hi mother of 3 and 4 kids

Do u all have some sort of help at home , be it maid or parent or parent in laws? Do u think a sahm can handle four young kids without live in help? Me contemplating to go maid less after having maid for 8 Yrs? Can't wait to have my own privacy after so many Yrs....I know in our parents time, they were able to do so with neighbors help, with life being simpler....
I have the same maid for past 10years already but have no problem going without. No problem when she goes back for home leave other than having to pickup after MIL. My kids not so young, I'm afraid, except for the youngest. The only reason we have the maid is to clean up after MIL! *sigh*. I am looking forward to the day that the house will finally be mine once again - after 14years! (had maid from no.2 and then by no.3 had ILs move in bc of sickness). But I'm afraid that day looks nowhere near.

With maid no privacy but add burdens. I need to take good care of her and tolerate her nonsense

Haha. For us, we have the piano and 5 violins, all of different sizes...
3 belong my hb who used to learn (really vintage cos >15-20 years old) and the other 2 belong to my no 2 and 3 who are learning violin now....

LOL - if you count all the sizes, ah??? Then we have 5 violins (1 mine, 1 ds1's, 3 ds3's), 3 erhus, 1 jinghu, 1 viola, 1 dizi, 1 piano. Currently, the 2 violins, 1 erhu, 1 jinghu, and 1 viola are already competing for space in the living room corner!

            Dear phankao, constancet,

Nope, it's the ENERGY, plus Patience, plus need to *psyche* kids - all add to too much STRESS, so best to keep it sane!

Normally I will make my kids very tired by :

                        Swimming
                        Running
                        Playing
                        Writing

They will tell me they’re tired and want to sleep. I don’t need to pat them or even say bedtime stories to them.
