      Jennifer:

Everytime he was being provoked. Dun see him so small sized, his punches are strong.
If I read your ds well, I'm pretty sure he's not that sort who will bully others. I see something similar between him and my ds. There is goodness in them. :celebrate:

Mark, how come you can recognise secret society hand signs? :? Should we be worried?

When someone is covered with tattoos from neck to leg, any unusual hand signals will look like secret society to me. ๐Ÿคท

Ok. Now I know must run away when I see two heavily tattooed people making signs at each other. ๐Ÿ™‚

          Scary:
          Joyfulhands,

          Almost forget to reply you.
My DS used to learn suzuki violin. The teacher was good but only if you have lots of time in practising. She expected the kids to be able to play a piece well within 1-2 weeks (suzuki violin book 2). DS was only 4-5 yrs at that time. Too stressful for me and she actually ticked the parents off in front of the whole class if the kids can't play well. I couldn't afford sitting there with my son for an hr everyday as I was working back then. My poor DS had to wake up every morning at 7am to practise 10-15mins with me. Also, DS's posture was all wrong as she didn't focus in correcting them.

Now he is doing non-suzuki method with a pte tutor at home. Will be going for Grade 1 exam next yr.
That's high expectation for a 4-5 yr old kid :scared: Looks like you've made the right choice to switch to pte teacher. Does he practice on his own? This is something which we can't get DD to take initiative ๐Ÿ˜ž
My DD is learning under a Suzuki teacher, and she's at book 2 now. While my DH is more gan cheong about her violin lessons, I can take the backseat to relax. After all my reason to him is that I'm not musically trained  On those areas that he's not interested to coach, ie academics, I will emerge and take over.

Not trying to score points here...but after the brief meeting with VP, I believe the school still has a warm heart.

Meaning to say next year's P5 may be allowed to have some contact time with parents on 2nd night.
Do not let your kids bring any snacks from home...they will be made to throw away  No 2nd servings are allowed...so even though your kids are very hungry after the exhausting activities, that portion is all they will get.
