Have you mothers heard about the power of motherhood discussion book? It is a Christian series that teaches a woman how to juggle between being a wife, mother and homemaking. I have benefitted greatly from this series.
Hi SusanYap,
May I know where I can get the series?
Thanks!
You can get from aboverubies.org.
Hi, may i know what time is the session on Tue please? Thanks. -

Well for a start, how do you ladies get past \"the look\" by some relatives? I feel that somehow a few people think I should be working instead...
I didn't get the look but mil did say it's a waste for me to quit since I studied so much. Well just told her I want to coach my kids especially DS who's going to be p1 next year. I find it's the older folks who tend to have such thinking. Maybe becos they didn't have the oppty to work. My friends are mostly envious that I can spend more time with kids. -

I couldn't be bothered about any \"look\". I am my own person. You are your own. I do not care about being termed \"stay-at-home-mom\", or other glorified titles like \"domestic engineer\", \"financial controller\", etc, etc. If it's \"Housewife\", that's it. BIG DEAL!!!!!!Canvas:

Canvas, you're not alone. My MIL, who was a high-level professional before she retired, could not understand why I \"stored\" my university degree away and chose to be a SAHM. She felt that I'm not economically useful and doesn't contribute to the family income. But that's the price I have to pay for wanting to take care and nurture DD myself.

Thanks Angelight!
