Hi apricot,
Sorry to hear tt your dd didn't get co from dhs... But like what augmum said... With her consistently good results I believe she can make it to her dream school eventually... Good luck!
Hi apricot,
Jia you. I am sure that with her hard work, your dd will do well in the coming PSLE. With a good PSLE t-score, all schools will welcome her with open arms.

there is no special class specifically for pupils who dsaed via sports domain,
they are randomly being placed in diff classes.
as observed from my gal's class, those who were dsaed via sports domain are weaker in their academics.
DHS's teachers do offer 1-1 consultations and they are friendly and approachable (majority of them).....
so any pupils can approach them for consulatations and
for those who are exceptionally weak, even if u dun approach them,
they will come after u......that what my gal's FT did.....

I think the students should do fine as they had to sit for the GAT prior selection.
Base on DS's experience so far, DHS teachers are friendly and approachable. In fact, although the official flag raising ceremony is at 8a.m. (9a.m for Thursdays), some teachers will ask the students to be in school earlier to do catching-up. Am thankful to these teachers going the extra mile. :salute: -

oh yes, :salute: to those teachers who go the extra mile to coach the pupils

Hi, I guess u' re a sec 2 pupil, since u had registered yrself in 2009,
Which means same yr as my gal......
Which teacher/ s are u referring to, as u have mentioned that \" some do not even teach\"??
Btw, would be interesting to know what u meant by \"ruin yr life\"
And the \" education syllabus is really bad\" ??
Yes, the sch does have some new teachers joining them in the mid of this yr,
But DHS is not the only school which has new recruits.........
So far, there' s only 1 teacher which is new in my gal's class. -
