Ideally, how many kids would you have?

after dd, didnt want another but decided to have another much later. after 2nd one, again decided not to have 3rd one. but now ................would like to have the 3rd one..............after that maybe 4?
:whut: sorry, dont seem to be answering your question but that is how i am feeling now (would like to have no. 3 but dont think so).
guess 3 is what i would like to have. -
I notice that many parents who are not so worried about finances have 4 children. This is just in my circle of acquaintances.

Ideally is 4 and hitting my quota soon.
When dating, I told DH I wanted 4. Lucky that didnt scare him away. :siam: -

In an ideallic situation, I see a family picture complete with 2 sets of healthy doting grandparents, parents and 4 happy children in a lovely garden setting. In the background, hidden from view, are 2 dedicated helpers.
Back to reality, in my picture, I see fatigued but thankful parents to 2 children crammed together in a 2 seater sofa.
I have 2. If DH and I were not such ‘involved’ and ‘hands on’ parents, we would consider no 3. We love children but we are struggling financially and physically. Right now, we’re in survival mode. We won’t rule out adoption at a later stage but that’s another chapter yet to be written. -

Unfortunately, sometimes, it is not as simple as 'just do it'. -
If I do not need to work and kids no need to go thru the 'stressful' education system....emmm...to form a football team should be good..

Ideally four is good! I only have 2 though as we have no additional help from parents…
