Hi Am not sure how to attach an image - hence referring to question no.


1) ACS Prelim Science Booklet A - No 17. Can someone pls tell me what is the answer. The given answer is 2. However, my son’s teacher told the class that flowers have chloroplasts as well. So he claims the only part without chloroplasts in the root.

2) CHIJ St Nicholas - Q8 - on seed dispersal. The given answer is (4) however my son says it should be (2).

This Q is from Pei Chun Prelim 2011, it is Q18.
Need help with the correct answer. The ans key( by Jeremy) says 3. But DS says the answer is 1. :?

When you write ur post, scroll down the screen, you can see 'upload pic' using tinypic. Use it to upload the scanned copy. Once the uploading is done, click the 'Add to post' button. Type in your query/comment and then post. Hope this helps. In case you need more info, let me know.

Hi tisha,

I checked with the sch teacher and here is what he explained:

The answer is (3). Look at the calibration on the measuring cylinder. Since, oxygen takes up 20% of the composition of air, the water should only rise up by 20%.

Think the school wants to release them as per normal school hours before the 1st written exam on 29/9.
