Some interesting apps to share :

1. Pictureka
2. Marble Mixer (good family bonding game)
3. Multipong (good family bonding game)
4. King of Opera (good family bonding game)
5. Little Things (my girls love it but I felt is stressful for eyes)
beside the other popular ones like PvZ, Angrybirds etc..

Free or paid ones?

Payable unless... Jb
Oh.. so far, I have never paid for a single App for iPhone and iPad..

Usually, I just browse the Appshopper for popular Free for now Apps. Or, if there is any interesting Paid App, just add it to the alert list and when the App become free, it will trigger an alert and email too.

Got quite a number of touchybook story books.. all FOC..

btw.. Angry birds is free on android.. iOS need to pay.....

I have iPad 1 and iPad 2. I find these iPads are very useful, if you know how to make full use of it, beside playing games, stream or watch dramas/movies, you will find it an angels… and a good tools for the kids.

My boys hate my iPads, I tell you why. Beside using it as an entertainment gadget, I have turn those iPads into their revision tools. I saved all the study notes, test papers, some model composition for them to read on the move.

I find it so easy, becos I do not need to bring piles of books or assessment when we go out. I just have to turn on the iPad, the material all there. Ha Ha! Once they have done their revision, then iPad will be there to entertain them… One stone kills two birds…
so far, I've only paid for one when I first bought my iPhone, thereafter all my idevices at home download from installous.

In fact, I enjoy the full control of them most, being able to tweak the interface, commands, etc that help prolong the physical lifespan:)

iPhone will work also.. maybe you need to check whether the phone actually have a data plan.

As for iPad, if it is 3G model, most likely the SIM card comes with a data plan.. whereas for Phones some pple may not sign up data plan, hence it gives you the impression that it is not working when actually it is bcoz the subscriber didn't sign up for data. Google Map needs data to work.
