          Hi Mummies and Daddies,

My daughter will join CHIJ TP next year. We're planning to go on vacation on Chinese New Year. πŸ•Ί School holiday for Chinese New Year will be on 23 and 24 January. Can we ask for special permission to have our DD back in school by 26 instead? Past experience will be highly appreciated :thankyou:

I doubt if 'special permission' will be given if it's just for a holiday. They've always emphasized that official school days are necessary for covering the curriculum. They also don't want to set a precedent of parents cutting the term short to go off on holidays (I've been tempted to before!).

I guess you will just have to 'do first and explain later'; two days of missed lessons will probably not be very detrimental, especially at P1. Not that I'm encouraging others to do the same...

I am thinking of taking a holiday right after my daughter finishes her SA2 exam next year...avoiding peak period. Since it's already year end, should be no prob I guess?

                  Hi all

Is there a designated jacket that the girls wear on rainy weather?
Is it for sale? If not, will any colors do for jackets?

                    Nope.
However, I keep to blue and white.

                      Hi P1 parents,

Any idea the actual dates of P1 SA2? :scratchhead: Thanks.

Not that we know of. My dd wears a black coloured jacket. We have seen jackets of other colours as well.
